My poor little group over at SavvySource.com looks so lonely. But that is only because:
1. we just started
2. your not there yet ^_^

The day is finally here. Official Launch day of Savvy Source, a place “Powered for Parents by Parents”. I was recently approached by the founder and CEO of SavvySource.com to help them with their official launch amongst other popular bloggers and I’m so excited to share what all I have learned about the site thus far. Savvy Source is a place where parents can get information not only about preschools but also get parenting advice from other parents. We all know that when we became parents there is no official handbook to help us out, that is one reason why I enjoy joining groups so much because it gives me a chance to not only interact with other parents but also learn from them as well.
I was asked to create a Domestic Diva group and become a Featured Source by SavvySource. After a quick phone call and walk through I could really see the potential in Savvy Source. Often times I don’t get to talk about parenting as much as I would like here at the Domestic Diva that is one of the main reasons why I wanted to create a Savvy Source group so that other parents like me can share their parenting experiences. Its like “getting together with your favorite girlfriends” without having to find a babysitter :).
But don’t worry we won’t always be discussing Parenting issues, we like to be well-rounded so we could be talking about anything under the sun from shopping to what your favorite snack food is.

The Domestic Diva
I know what you might be thinking…Oh no, not another group to join. Don’t worry because I was thinking the exact same thing. With so many social networks (example of how many I’m already a part of next to your scroll bar —>) do we really need to join another one? This is how I see it…
For example, say I was debating whether or not to homeschool my child and wanted to ask other parents what their decision was when they came to this stage in their childs life. What made them choose school, what was the deciding factor in opting to homeschool, what is the best curriculum? Stuff like that. Instead of shouting out to thousands of random people on twitter or facebook, I can ask the Domestic Diva Savvy Source group what their opinion is instead. It’s like asking your close friends if an outfit looks good on you.
The Domestic Diva Savvy Source group isn’t going to be successful without you, my readers, joining in. Joining is easy and FREE! If you have a facebook account already its pretty simple, just click the connect with facebook button on the savvysource.com page and you are already on the way to joining fabulous groups (*cough* the domestic diva *end cough*), finding activites to do in your city, or even finding out what’s hot with other parents in terms of baby gear.
If you like Savvy Source, you can even create your own group for your blog!!! So come join us over at our new
Savvy Source Group, answer some of the questions already in the group, or create your own. Don’t forget to “friend” me if you decide to create a profile there.
Let me know what you think of Savvy Source. Does it look like something you would use? Are you going to join any groups? I look forward to getting to know more of you and lots of fun times on Savvy Source. See you there!
Disclosure: I was approached by Savvy Source to help with their launch by sharing my opinions, creating a group, and becoming a featured source. Savvy Source is one of our affiliated sponsors.
