iPlay n’ Learn iPhone App

8 October 2009 One Comment Disclosure

Today is Technical Thursday and since I have so much fun with my iPhone (despite the repeating black screen of frozen-ness that I’ve been experiencing lately, I think it is a software upgrade issue so hopefully that will be fixed soon with a new update) I thought I would share one of my newest iPhone purchases.

The app is called iPlay n’ Learn. Now this app isn’t for adults per say but rather for the little kidlets that are always begging to play with the iPhone. What I liked about this app is that it is a fun way for kids to play and learn at the same time. The app talks, which is great, telling your child what to do in the app like find the circle, find the color blue, or trace a letter.

One of the main reasons why I purchased this app, for only $.99, is because I have an upcoming wedding to go to and I’m hoping the app will entertain the kidlets long enough to get through the service and whatever other events we happen to attend. If the app doesn’t work at holding my kidlets attention, I have digital copies of movies already transferred to my iPhone just in case.

The iPlay n’ Learn app may be purchased in the iTunes app store (brought to you by Parents magazine) for the iPhone. Since we love Parents magazine at the Diva household, their official blog entitled Goody Blog is a great place to check out as well.

How do you entertain your kids at events?

What are your tricks to keeping the kidlets quiet during important outings? Let’s us know your answer in the comments.

Hey I am one of your Twitter Followers, @amazinglyamara . I will start off by stating that I do not have children but I am interested in learning more about them… possibly for the future. So my question is: at what age do you let your kids begin to play with the iPhone?
