Technical Thursday: For the love of Hulu

For those of you that aren’t aware of this wonderful website, I would like to introduce you to Hulu. Hulu is a website that allows you to watch videos online. This isn’t user generated videos like youtube but instead are some of your favorite shows streamed right to your desktop.

Lately, my family and I have been enjoying a lot of Hulu goodness lately. I even recently discovered that they have some really great children’s movies to watch like Jonah: a Veggie Tales Movie or even the Secret of Nimh.

Hulu is ever changing, always adding new shows and movies. What of my favorite features is the queue. The queue allows you to subscribe to certain shows that you love. This will automatically update with the newest episodes available if you so choose.

So what sort of things have I been watching on Hulu? Getting caught up on favorite shows like Desperate Housewives, that I missed watching on TV, and even newer shows I’ve never heard of like the Loop, that I’m finding out that I really love.

With new shows and full length episodes added daily, Hulu is a great source for entertainment for the whole family.

Also with Hulu Labs there are ever changing download options available to enhance your Hulu experience, like my personal favorite the Hulu Desktop which brings all of Hulu’s goodness to your desktop.

Question: Do you Hulu?

What new features would you like to see Hulu add? For me this would be easy, make an iPhone App. I would love to be able to take Hulu with me on the go with my iPhone. But only time will tell if it will ever become available.

You’ll see in my sidebar –> I added a widget that I will try to keep updated with shows I’ve found and love to watch on Hulu.     Tweetplate….I am too. I love finding the old stuff that brings back the childhood memories as well as the new stuff that I happened to have missed on TV. I love the sleakness of the HULU desktop app, so fun.

    we LOVE hulu, my husband got me into it. now we both sit in bed winding down with our labtops and earphones sitting side by side! which i find too funny for some reason :)
