I unfortunately don’t have a lot of movies to showcase this week for “momertainment” or “date night” but I do have a few that are worth a look for movie night at home.

The Betrayed is a movie that was recently released on DVD. This movie was a great “date night” type movie for hubby and I. It was entertaining to say the least. One thing that sticks in my mind about this movie is a phrase that my husband kept saying to me. “Bay, don’t be that girl.” “Don’t be that girl, Bay”. Bay is the nickname my husband uses for me and he is referring to the way that the girl would react to certain situations in the movie. Each “wrong move” the girl would do, my husband would quickly correct it by telling me “not to be that girl”. Funny.

This next movie won’t be released until August 4, 2009 but it is worth adding to your must-watch list now. The Soloist is one inspiring movie. With Rover Downey Jr. & Jamie Foxx really you can’t go wrong with this movie, that is unless you just aren’t fans of these two actors. To me I think they did a really great job in the film. What I liked most about this film is that it is based on a true story. Any movie that I know has history behind it just makes it a little bit more interesting to me to see. I really can’t sum this movie up into words, it was just awesome. Let me know if you were able to catch it at the theater or if you plan on getting it on DVD release date.
