This week we managed to sneak in a little fun downtown at the riverwalk. They have a playground there and a long walking trail. The kidlets had a lot of fun, naturally, and I enjoyed a nice little break from the house. Who knew you could go out and do things other than run errands?
It has been raining so much over the last month that we never thought we would see a sunshiny day. The first sign of the sun we all hoped in the car and headed out for some fun. A little dampness wasn’t going to ruin our moment, we were just thankful that it wasn’t pouring down rain for once.

People always wonder, my husband included, why I don’t have a lot of photos of my husband in my photo albums, well the simple fact is because whenever I take his picture his face looks like the one displayed above. Crunchy and annoyed.
