Do you want to know a Secret? Try the “Mystery Shampoo/Conditioner” first before the product is revealed!

1 November 2008 8 Comments Disclosure

Did you catch me in the teaser? I have no speaking parts by my “reverse mullet” makes its awesome appearance more than once in this commercial.

As you may have heard here at thedomesticdiva.org over the past month, I’m totally in love with my “Mystery Shampoo/Conditioner”. Now we still do not know what the products name is nor who it is even produced by but we do know that you can grab a FREE SAMPLE of the stuff right now before it even hits the store shelves! By signing up with the link in my sidebar to the right you will get a free 1-1,7 fl.oz. sample of both the shampoo and conditioner to test drive in your own home before the official launch of the product.

The mystery shampoo/conditioner line will reveal its name on November 24, 2008! I’m sure we will all be anticipating its official launch date. So go ahead and try your hand at product reviewing by signing up for your free sample. Let’s know what you think once you have tested it in your own home.

Want a sneak peak at my interview after I first tried this product? I must warn you first though. At the time of the interview I was SO caught off guard by the cameras that I was definitely not my normal self. I tend to become very shy and reserved when not well prepared for situations, hence why I am so “camera shy” in this interview. I’m surprised that I wasn’t as red as a beet in this interview because that is what usually happens when I get so nervous. This is definitely not my best work but something that I will use as a learning experience as I try to put myself out there more and gain a little bit of exposure for what I love to do which is reviewing products. You gotta roll with the punches and learn from your mistakes which will only make you stronger in the end. Right? So I bring you, my first EVER LIVE interview….

BTW, they don’t lie when they say that the camera adds 10 lbs!!!!

If you look on the Testimonial page of the Salon Secret website you will see this Video Testimonial that I did right after I got my box of goodies to try at home.

you did great in your interview! and the more you do it just like our videos at home the more natural we become. i also felt like i seemed more “nervous” than normal but mostly b/c they had the guy asking us questions in the wrong position compared to the camera in my opinion based on the other “real” types of TV interviews i’ve done. next time i’m sure we’ll all do even better! and be more prepared! i hope! xo col :)

Lindsey….make sure you come back and tell us how you like it. I’d love to know your honest reaction after trying out the product for yourself.

Colleen….thanks for the input and keeping my spirits up about the interview. I’ve never done anything professionally before so it was a little nerve racking for me but like you said, I’m sure it will get a lot easier over time.

colleen….after I thought about it you know what, doing interviews, making videos, etc. is kind of like making pancakes the first one always turns out horrible but once you get the hang of it they turn out beautifully.

Drea…thanks for the encouraging words…yes I was a LOT more timid in this interview, very shy, not my typical self at all. I’m not all that happy with it but like I said you live and you learn.

Yes I am a GA peach, no I did not move it is a typo on their part that will hopefully be fixed soon.
