Mystery Shampoo/Conditioner available soon at Walmart: What is it?

25 October 2008 4 Comments Disclosure

Many of you may recall a recent blog post mentioning the fact that I had the opportunity to try out a new shampoo/conditioner with Walmart at a local salon while in Bentonville, AR. What this mystery shampoo/conditioner is? I have no idea. I don’t even know what the name of the product is. Every time the product is mentioned it is simply a “?”.

I can not rant and rave enough about this new mystery shampoo that will be revealed sometime in November. You will have to stay tuned here to find out more about this product as the launch date nears.

I am so excited to finally have some of this product in my own home that I can’t wait till you are able to try it out for yourself as well. This stuff is like magic in a bottle. My hair hasn’t felt this good in forever!

Disclosure: this post is sponsored by Walmart. Product was provided for use in making this post/video.

You definitely got my attention! Since I started swimming a few weeks ago, I’ve had to pay more attention than ever to keeping my hair healthy. I’m blessed with naturally healthy hair, and before, I never needed to use conditioner. But now that I’m swimming regularly, the chlorine is doing a number on my hair and it’s a total rat’s nest if I don’t (at the very minimum) use shampoo and conditioner.

Ok this is so weird.. but Im in Durham NC with my husband at a Weekend to Remember conference.. and our speaker was the the physician that took care of the dude (forget his name sorry) who came up with Walmart many years ago! He was even at a thing one time that President Bush (not current Bush, old bush) was at to give the walmart guy a reward.. and this guy had full access to the president and the walmart guy during that thing.

Ok that may of not made sense.
But any how when the conference started he said he was from Bentonville AK and I was like “wait a minute.. I know where that is….”

yet I couldnt think of where it was.. but then he said “walmart” and I was like “Ohhhhyea!” haha.

So any how.. we are listening to a guy from the town you were just at.
    Small world.

Firstly, hooray for the comments working! Secondly, I cannot wait for this shampoo and conditioner to come out, I need to know what it is and what it does! I recently became heavily addicted to Herbal Essences Long Term Relationship. I wanted to try it because I used to have poker straight, beautiful, long hair down to my waist. I cut it, donated it, kept it short for a while, and now that I’m growing it out to donate again (I swear I’m a Locks of Love hair farm!) I’m noticing that as I get older, my hair is starting to look ratty, it’s drying it faster and it just looks dead. Herbal Essences Long Term Relationship has been helping it so much, I was utterly blown away! So as a person who needs healthy looking and healing feeling hair so I can continue to donate it (See, it all goes to a good cause! Ha!) I need to know what this new shampoo and conditioner is!

By the way, oh my goodness you are so Southern with your “Fixing to do this” and “Right quicks” it’s cute, haha. And I love your new intro to your videos!

Melinda…first of all, I know what you mean. I can vouch for this new shampoo/conditioner really doing great things with my hair. I’ve been using it for about 3 days now and all I can say is “WOW!” This stuff is amazing! I’m sure after a week my hair is going to be as healthy as it was before I colored.

Drea…um, OK? LOL Yes, it is a very small world.

Women Tribune…yes, I am so glad I got the comment issue resolved. I had no idea ppl couldn’t comment yet was wondering at the same time why I wasn’t getting any comments lately. LOL, I should have known something was wrong with the comment system when I didn’t hear any advice from my loyal commenters like yourself. Anywho, It is so good to hear that you donate your hair to locks of love. They are a great org. and they really do some great things. Good to see you are apart of that. I damage my hair all the time with heat styling, gunky build-up of products, and coloring/bleaching it constantly….if this shampoo/conditioner can make my hair look healthy again like it was before I began coloring my hair you know this stuff is like a miracle in a bottle. I can’t wait till I can tell you all the name of the product. I can tell you that soon I will be able to offer you all a free sample of the stuff for you to try before you buy but that will be available sometime next month as well, so stay tuned for sure!

You Guys Rock, thanks for commenting!!!
