Its been fun Cali, but I’m ready to leave.

21 April 2008 One Comment Disclosure

Five days in California, really is a long a time. I thought the time would go by quickly but when you miss your husband and children the time practically stands still. I can’t wait to see my family. I missed my family so much.

We had to get up really early this morning, like 3 am, in order to get to the airport in time for our plane to leave. Since we are traveling from the west coast to the east we will lose 3 hours on the flight. Switching back to Eastern Standard Time will probably be a challenge for my body since it has already started to get used to pacific time. Uugghh vacation is so physically distressing.

With the Sony Mommy Blogger Event and touring San Diego, California overall this “vacation” hasn’t been all that bad. I’ve learned a lot, meet a group of great women, and finally saw the west coast. Although I would never live in California, it was great to come for a visit and pretend like I was an “important person” for once in my life.

You are an important person! I know what you mean about travel when you are missing the kidoos and the hubby, My first night on the road when I go away on business is nice, but then by night 3 I am over it and want to get home to the craziness. Glad you had a good time!
