Getting it together…

17 March 2007 3 Comments Disclosure

Well we’ve been in our new home approximately 3 weeks now. I’ve pretty much adjusted to the time change [from central to eastern again] and have pretty much gotten the majority of the boxes put away. Now all that is left to do is to get back into our normal, everyday routine. I need to start getting back into my blogging and “online work”, as well as the pnut getting back into his daily routine. With all the moving and changes that have happened in the past month with granny’s death, the move, and pnut becoming so ill we’ve kinda stepped back a few steps in the potty training department. I mean it really sucks because just when I think we are doing so good and he is making such great progress. We have to take two steps backwards again because of some life altering tragedy. I know we will get it accomplished eventually but it can really wear on your nerves.

In other news…Yesterday, I got a new toy. Hubby got me a chest freezer. Which is what I’ve wanted for THE longest time and now I’ve finally got it. So with our new freezer we of course had to go grocery shopping to fill the bad boy up. And fill it we did. We have frozen food to last at least a month if not two, I’m sure. So I need to get back into the habit of making my weekly menu now that we actually have food in the house. We’ve basically been living off of take out since we moved due to visitors and lack of time to go grocery shopping. Frankly, I’m sick of eating burgers and fries and welcome our first home cooked meal tomorrow night. If you are curious we will be dining Italian style…spaghetti with meat sauce and garlic french loaf bread.

Tomorrow I’m designating it a “work on the computer day”. Since I’ve neglected my blog since we’ve moved, I have a ton of work to catch up on and tons of pictures to show you guys of the new house. Have I mentioned how much I love this house? I absolutely love it. The layout and space is just perfect for us. Everytime I hear hubby mention that we aren’t going to be here for long either just makes me sad because this is a place I could actually see myself calling home. But anyways, you move on, right? Yeah, so I’m hoping that I’ll take some good pics of the house tomorrow to post to you guys so you can oooh and ahhh over its beautifulness.

/// I love eastern time I get so confused calling elsewhere, being I live in new york when I call my friend in arizona I wake up at 9 and start my daily calls and she gets made at me since its 6 there. I’m like ugh .. get normal time :\

We have a freezer in the garage it makes it easier, I like the stand up freezers vs. the chest freezers, and the fridge with the freezer on the bottom. those are the best.

    Congratulations on your move!

I just found this blog, so I’m playing catch up. Are you a military family and that’s why you’ll be moving again “soon”? You don’t have to answer if it’s too personal, I was just curious. :-)

I’m so jealous of you getting a deep freezer. I’ve been trying to get a free one off freecylce, no luck with that. Found one on ebay for $20 but it was so dirty and used for decades, lol. I may have to just suck it up and use some of my ppp earnings to purchase one :-(.
